    Nothing wrong with using Rotella HDEO in a wet clutch bike, but some want a certified JASO MA/MA2 oil, not one that just "meets" the requirements of. Heck, I use Peak Syn Blend 15w-40 HDEO in my bikes, and it mentions noting on the label about JASO at all. T4 and T6 both say "Meets the performance requirements of: ... JASO MA/MA2".

    Rotella T5 15w40 "debate" is much ado about nothing. As well, Shell does nothing to certify. They know oil and what makes it work in any type vehicle they want to put on the bottle. What Smoky14 shared sounds like they have more things on their mind than changing the T5 jug, but I bet they enjoy reading forums with "conspiracy" theories.

    Rotella does not produce a 20-50 weight oil. The user mentions using Rotella a few years back, but cannot recall the exact flavor. It was likely a semi-synthetic labeled T5 or T6. The only weight available is T-6 5w 40. Someone will be along shortly with more information.
