Nvidia GeForce Now is about to get a dedicated app on Steam Deck and start supporting streaming via browser on several virtual and mixed reality headsets.

GeForce NOW on the Vision Pro, Quest, and Pico devices includes “all the bells and whistles of NVIDIA technologies, including ray tracing and NVIDIA DLSS,” the company confirmed. GeForce NOW members on the Performance and Ultimate subscriptions can “tap into RTX and DLSS technologies in supported games” for even better visuals.

Nvidia GeForce Now is like the GPU manufacturer's version of Netflix or Game Pass, and it allows you to integrate your existing gaming libraries to its cloud streaming servers so that you can play them on whatever device you want. Later this month you'll be able to play GeForce Now on some of the best VR headsets, Nvidia has confirmed.

The app will boost game quality and selection, but you'll need a GeForce Now subscription to make it worthwhile.
