The words strawberry and shortcake go hand in hand and this easy recipe made from scratch will have you asking for more!

Add a biscuit to the base of each case, then top that with a whole ... the icing onto the tops of the shortcake cupcakes and then sprinkle with the freeze-dried strawberries.

To serve, slice the cake into generous portions and arrange on serving plates. Spoon 1/4 cup of strawberries with their juices onto the cake, and top with a big dollop of the whipped cream.
