Do people tube behind boats or wakeboard in the St. Johns River? I'm looking to rent a pontoon boat to enjoy some water sports, but also want to be mindful of the wildlife (gators!). If so, any recommended spots/areas you'd recommend for these activities? Thanks!

I did not see water skiing but did see some tubing. We rented a pontoon from boat tree marina and it was so much fun. Did see gators, turtles and fish. There were boats pulled off to the bank and they setup a rope swing off a tree for their family. Hope this helps.

Two hours or so. Blue Springs is at marker 70 and Boat Tree is at 115. There are spots where you cannot make a wake which is what slows you down. Pay strict attention to those signs …
